I am the sole proprietor of Bay Area HeartPath. Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.
I am a firm believer in every individual’s innate power to effect positive and lasting personal change. I have made it my personal goal to study eastern and western approaches to healthcare and I bring that education into each of my recovery support programs.
I have an Associate of Arts Degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with an Emphasis in Psychology and am a Certified Addictions Treatment Counselor. I studied holistic health and biofeedback and those disciplines figure prominently in my work.
In pursuit of my credential, I served an 8-month unpaid internship at a community health center and was subsequently hired by an outpatient treatment center as their Relapse Prevention Specialist. I have 5 years agency experience and left that position in 2004 to begin my private practice.
Although the focus of Bay Area HeartPath is substance abuse, the underlying theme is whole-person wellness ~ of the body, mind and spirit. I will respectfully support your recovery journey through education, cognitive-behavioral counseling and experiential exercises.
